About
Welcome to Ajisen Ramen - Philippines, a delightful spot where authentic Japanese flavors come alive in the heart of Quezon City. Located at 43 Tirad Pass Corner Sto. Domingo, this establishment has become a hidden gem for ramen lovers and Japanese cuisine enthusiasts alike. With its inviting atmosphere, Ajisen Ramen is a perfect place for casual dining or a family outing, away from the usual crowded restaurants.
As you step inside, the first thing that captures your attention is the warmth and cleanliness of the venue. Customers have praised the staff for their attentiveness and knowledge about the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience. The attention to detail here extends beyond just the food; even the restrooms are well-stocked and maintained, a sign of the care taken in customer service.
The highlights of the menu are truly worth exploring. Patrons often rave about the ramen, which is not only rich in flavor but also served in generous portions, ensuring that no one leaves hungry. The spicy tuna roll and gyoza come highly recommended, with many describing them as flavor-packed delights that are difficult to resist. Customers like Kath Ong have noted the standout dishes that compel them to return for more, particularly the spicy tuna appetizer that is so good, it demands a second serving!
Additionally, Ajisen Ramen offers free cha (tea), enhancing the value of your dining experience. As Mai Usagi pointed out in her review, the dishes can be enjoyed alongside a side of spicy tofu and mild porridge, creating an interesting balance of flavors. Despite a few hiccups in service, many customers, including Josephine and Ken, agree that the authentic taste makes it all worthwhile.
While the restaurant was recently renovated due to flooding from typhoon Carina, the loyal customer base continues to affirm Ajisen Ramen's reputation for offering delicious and authentic Japanese fare. Mike Famaranglas highlights the affordability of this establishment, making it an ideal family destination that provides a less hectic dining atmosphere compared to other more crowded spots.
In summary, Ajisen Ramen - Philippines stands out not just for its lovely dishes but also for the cozy ambiance and attentive service. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this charming ramen house for a satisfying meal that transports you straight to Japan—one bowl of noodles at a time!
“ Good food, good service, good atmosphere! Though it was a somewhat slow service, the food was worth the wait. The serving size was huge for what it's worth! The spicy tuna roll was good, but I wish it had a bi more flavor. The gyoza was great, very packed! And the ramen was also huge for the price point! A great hole-in-the-wall Japanese place! ”
“ Ajisen is one of the affordable Japanese restaurant I always go with my family frequently as they are not always jampacked like other Japanese restaurant and the staff are friendly too. Their foods are authentic especially the ramen and gyoza which are the main Japanese dishes I always order where I found their broths are rich in flavour. Unfortunately, the restaurant was affected and heavily flooded by typhoon Carina recently so they have almost completely renovated the whole place. Their Japanese art wall are already gone and the TV which my daughter always watch whenever we come here is not there anymore. ”
“ Authentic Japanese food. Ramen is fantastic. I ordered karaage, ebi tempura, yakisoba, gyoza, kani salad, they are all good. Free cha/tea ”
“ We ended up here because of the traffic and the gps. It was already dinner time, we were hungry when we saw this restaurant as we were backing up. There were just us therr but it's a shame becasue a lot of the food there is actually great and flavourful. There's also free tea. The porridge's taste is somewhat mild but it goes great with the flavourful spicy tofu. The toilet is clean, has water, and tissuea. Why is the service 4 stars? 3 reasons; they missed out listing an order for take-out, the toilet is way out in the back and the door was difficult to open due to the airflow, and I ordered steamed dumplings/wonton but they gave me fried. Why didn't I return it? I don't want to wait for them to steam a batch as we had a long way before we do get home. Overall though, I recommend it here. ”
“ I was thoroughly impressed with this Ajisen Ramen branch. The food was excellent and served incredibly fast. The spicy tuna appetizer was a standout—it was so delicious we had to order a second serving! What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are not only very attentive but also highly knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. The restaurant itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Even the restroom was spotless and fully stocked, which is always a great sign. I even noticed how clean and organized a storage cabinet was as a staff member was getting supplies. This attention to detail is truly impressive. We will absolutely be returning! ”
